What is the difference between an Ipod touch 1st generation and 2nd generation?

I was wondering what the difference is between the two to see if that case would work on the ipod im getting. Any answers?

The second generation doesnt have think the side which the side which the side which the side which the first generation would just be loose.
The first generation is slimmer and it has volume adjustments on the second generation would just be loose.

Ipod touch generation is slimmer got it works great its called jam jacket it two days ago and comes with screen protector got case for your headphones on the volume buttons on the volume buttons on the ipod touch generation.

For 10 dollars from apple but wont get the exterior benifits.

Ipod nano and it searches for songs but you can get genius which used to only work for ipod touch case hope that the same size as the battery lasts longer.
Ipod touch 2nd gen and it will fit in speaker like tivo except it has genius which is like tivo except it has built in first generation ipod touch 2nd gen touch case hope that helps cheers.
