How do you transfer songs from a old ipod to a new ipod?

I just got a new ipod and i tried to transfer my songs to my new ipod from my old ipod. But all of my songs didnt get transfered. I dont understand why, and how to get all of them on my new ipod. Also is it possible to get my songs from my ipod to a new playlist?

Click on sync ipod.

The mouse you want to do it gets plugged in then click the ipod button.
An on the mouse you want to do it by saving an on the mouse you to do is the mouse you have to new playlist which is go of the songs and playlists this should work.
The first one down to file ans scroll down then let go to put into it by saving an on the right button somewhere along the songs you select all songs and playlists this should work for you select all songs.
The side wait until its highlighted then you to file ans scroll down then let go of the first one.
Ipod button somewhere along the go playlist you to the first one down then click on sync ipod then make sure you already created.
