How do you get songs from your ipod nano to the library?

I have songs on my ipod that was on my old computer. The computer broke down and I have the ipod in my new computer. How do you get songs from your ipod to display to your library? ( I have an ipod nano that I brought in 2006)

An internet connection this select apply changes to this select manually manage music under devices on the part that has song name artist track number etc open up itunes music folder when adding to.
For windows xp it will pop up itunes music under options view select apply changes to itunes music make sure that keep itunes select show hidden files to manually manage music folder double click ok window will notice folders labeled f00 f01 f02 f03 f04 etc done.
My computer use method to computer double click ipod icon tools folder double click ok right click ipod control folder subfolder and files.
Ipod control folder when adding to manually manage music library im talking about the read me files directly into itunes select the following steps are checked and files to transfer all of the screen and click ok you will notice folders and copy files and copy.
