Anyone have any ideas on how to get sticky gum off a plasma tv screen?

My son smeared his gum all over the screen of our plasma tv. So far I’ve tried putting ice in a bag and applying it to the gum. I’m able to get off big pieces, but the rest just kinda smears into the screen. Any helpful ideas would be appreciated.

Use creamy peanut butter, That gets gum off.
